One-handed Clothes hanger
My final group project at the Hanzehogeschool was designing a clothes hanger that can be used one-handedly.
This project aimed to repurpose used hospital IV bags, a challenging waste stream, into a clothes hanger operable by individuals with limited mobility. My team successfully overcame the design challenge of fitting a hanger through a small collar opening by creating a foldable and extendable hanger that could be operated with a single hand. This project honed my skills in inclusive product design, teamwork, and intercompany interactions, executed in association with product design, injection moulding, and waste collection companies.
