Bio Ecological Sampling Boat
During my internship at Fluctus, I got to design a remote controlled boat that can collect samples from various locations.
For this internship project, my task was to design a remote-controlled boat capable of collecting water samples for biodiversity monitoring. The client required a stable, easy-to-use, manoeuvrable, and fast boat that could also be thoroughly cleaned to prevent cross-contamination. I conducted research and comparative tests among different hull types (catamaran, V-shaped, and flat), with the V-shaped hull proving most effective. I further integrated this design into prototypes made from EPS board cutouts to test capabilities under full load, successfully delivering the project for company finalization and market launch.
